Spelt is a type of wheat, known in some places are green wheat or wild wheat. There is evidence that this cereal dates back more than 7,000 years. It was first cultivated in Iran and later reached Egypt and China. This hardy crop grows well in any climate, making it ideal for organic farming.

What are the health benefits of spelt?

  • It contains omega 3 and 6 fatty acids that protect the heart and the arteries.
